This Privacy Policy describes how ThemeSnap for Shopify (“ThemeSnap,” “the Extension,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our Chrome extension. By using the Extension, you agree to this policy.

ThemeSnap helps you work on Shopify storefronts by showing theme-related details (such as theme name, theme ID, and shop domain) on pages you choose to use it on, and by letting you copy preview links, copy theme details, or open your store’s Shopify admin and theme editor. The Extension runs only in your browser as part of Google Chrome.
To provide these features, the Extension may read information from the web page in the active browser tab when you open the Extension’s popup or use its keyboard shortcuts. That can include:
The Extension is designed to use this information only to perform its features on your device (for example, to show theme details in the popup, build preview links, or open Shopify admin URLs). We do not use this access to track your browsing across websites for advertising or analytics.
On your device: The Extension may store small settings (for example, shortcut-related preferences) using Chrome’s chrome.storage APIs. This data stays in your browser and is synced according to your Chrome account settings if you use Chrome sync.
What we receive on our servers: We do not operate a backend service for ThemeSnap that receives your browsing data, page content, or theme details from the Extension. The Extension does not send the pages you visit, theme IDs, or shop domains to us by default.
If this changes in a future version (for example, optional crash reporting or an account feature), we will update this policy and the Chrome Web Store listing before collecting new types of data.
The Extension requests only the permissions needed for its features (such as access to the active tab, scripting on pages you use with the Extension, and storage for settings). Those permissions are used as described in this policy and in the Extension’s store listing.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share data from the Extension with advertisers or data brokers for their own purposes.
The Extension may open normal Shopify websites (for example, your store’s admin) in your browser; those sites are governed by Shopify’s terms and privacy policy, not by us.
Google Chrome and the Chrome Web Store process information according to Google’s policies when you install or update the Extension.
ThemeSnap is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can stop using the Extension at any time by removing it from Chrome (chrome://extensions). Removing the Extension removes its stored data from that browser according to Chrome’s behavior.
If you use the Extension from outside your country or region, information may be processed on your device and, if you use Chrome sync, according to Google’s practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. For material changes, we may also note them in the Chrome Web Store listing or Extension description. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
